我的家鄉有田中馬
【 來田中跑馬拉松，就是我們全鎮的事情 】
一場台灣最具人情味、台灣農村特色的馬拉松 - 台灣米倉田中馬拉松，全鎮出動七千位鄉親，展現田中的友善與熱情一路幫跑者加油，邀請全國萬人跑者用腳步支持台灣的智耕農，以步伐體驗稻香、米香、人情的故鄉。田中鄉親志工用滿滿珍惜土地的幸福感，營造友善熱情賽道，使「 台灣米倉田中馬拉松 Taiwan's Rice Heaven－Tianzhong Marathon 」打響國內外知名度，廣受國內外跑者民眾喜愛，並評價為臺灣經典賽事前三名，為國內外跑者來台指定參與賽事。
從無到有，志工從百人到現今6千多名鄉親的出力，選手4千多人到現今1萬5千位的秒殺支持，帶動了地方商機與青年返鄉熱潮，發展出單車小旅行、農事體驗、運動團練、國際體驗團等觀光旅遊風氣，也讓我們田中人找到自信感到驕傲，成功翻轉了田中小鎮成為臺灣跑者之鄉。
2020年，田中馬拉松提報【台灣品牌國際賽事】獲得體育署審查通過，與台北馬拉松、新北萬金石馬拉松及高雄馬拉松並列為台灣4大馬拉松賽事。
My Hometown
has Tianzhong Marathon
“Running a marathon elsewhere, it may be the runner’s own event. But coming to run the Tianzhong Marathon, this is an event for our whole township”. The most hospitable marathon in Taiwan, showing the most taiwanese village characteristics: the Taiwan Rice Heaven - Tianzhong Marathon. The township dispatches 6,000 villagers to demonstrate the friendliness and enthusiasm of Tianzhong, helping all along the way to cheer up the runners. We invite national-wide million runners to support Taiwan’s smart farming with their legs. Experience with footsteps the fragrance of paddy fields & rice, the hometown of compassions. Tianzhong townships’ volunteers use their full happiness in land-cherishing to create a friendly, enthusiastic track. These make the “Taiwan's Rice Heaven - Tianzhong Marathon” become world renowned, be loved by local and overseas runners. It is rated as the top three classic races in Taiwan, and become “the” marathon event in Taiwan participated by local and overseas runners.
From having none to something, from about 100 volunteers to today’s 6000 villagers putting in their efforts, from over 4000 runners to today’s 15000 registrations within seconds. All these bring about local business opportunities and an upsurge of youth returning to the hometown. Tourism trends such as bicycle mini-tour, farming experience, group sports training, and international experience tour are developed. These also let our Tianzhong people find confidence and pride, and to turn successfully Tianzhong from a small town into the hometown of Taiwanese marathon runners.
